Welcome to Watchling. By creating an account or using the Watchling application ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Watchling is a video curation tool that allows parents and guardians to build a curated library of YouTube videos for their children. The Service provides a controlled viewing experience free of ads, comments, and algorithmic recommendations.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. The kids' viewing interface is intended to be used by children under parental supervision. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Share your kids' viewing link with unintended recipients (you can regenerate it at any time)
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
5. Content
Watchling does not host video content. All videos are sourced from YouTube and embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. You, as the parent or guardian, are solely responsible for selecting videos that are appropriate for your children. Watchling does not review, moderate, or guarantee the appropriateness of any video content you add to your library.
6. YouTube Content
Your use of YouTube content through Watchling is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. YouTube videos may become unavailable at any time due to actions by the video creator or YouTube. Watchling is not responsible for the availability of any YouTube content.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchling and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings page. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.
